Dr Mehmet Ozalp
Dr Mehmet Ozalp is a scholar, public intellectual, community leader and author. Mehmet is an Associate Professor of Islamic Studies and the Director of (CISAC) which he founded at Charles Sturt University. He is the founder and Executive Director of ISRA (Islamic Sciences and Research Academy of Australia).
Dr Ozalp was awarded Australian Bluestar Award in Education (2011) and Charles Sturt University Professional Excellence Award (2012), Australian Muslim Role Model of the Year award (2012) and Australian Muslim Lifetime Achievement Award (2018).
Dr Ozalp has served as the Muslim Chaplain at the University of Sydney and Macquarie University from 2006 to 2019.
Tamana Daqiq is a solicitor working predominantly in the area of family law since 2009.
Shas a double degree in Law and Psychology from Macquarie University. She is currently the Principal of a boutique legal practice “Hikma Legal”.
Graduating with 1st degree honours, Tamana has a Masters degree in Islamic Studies from Charles Sturt University. She is an Adjunct Researcher at the Centre of Islamic Sciences and Civilisation (CISAC), Charles Sturt University.
She is currently undertaking a part-time research position at the Faculty of Law, University of Sydney.
She is a regular panellist on ABC RN’s God Forbid program discussing diverse subjects.
Tamana is a mother and has a passion for community work, protecting human rights and serving and supporting those in need during difficult times.

Sheikh Rami Al-Sharawneh
Sheikh Rami Al-Sharawneh has completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy from University of Sydney. He studied overseas a Sharia Course and Masters in Shariah from the University of Tripoli, Tripoli, Lebanon. Sheikh Rami also completed Studies in Fiqh, Usool and Quranic Studies in Egypt and has commenced studies in DarulIftaa Al-Masreeya (High Ifta Council of Egypt)
Sheikh Rami has been running marriage courses and lectures across many platforms in Sydney, from the ‘Voice of Islam’ Radio station to mosques, mussalas and Islamic centres for over 8 years.Sheikh Rami is currently a member of the ANIC (Australian National Imams Council.
Sheikh Rami currently owns and operates a group of Pharmacies and Medical centres. Sheikh Rami is happily married with three beautiful children.
Dalya Ayoub is the founder and CEO of Life Matters Academy. She is a personal development and coaching program consultant, success and relationship Life Coach at Life Matters. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree, a certificate in Management, the Believe-Achieve-Inspire Leadership program (BAILP), a certified Life Coach and trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Train the Trainers Certification and Relationship and Family Coaching.
She completed a Masters in Islamic Studies at Charles Sturt University (2015), writing her thesis on ‘Success from the Islamic perspective’, and hopes to couple this Islamic knowledge with her Life Coaching skills to offer a truly effective and pioneering service to the community.
Ghania Dib is a Principal Lawyer, Family Law arbitrator and a nationally accredited mediator.
She is an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and a Collaborative Professional Lawyer (member of CPNSW)
Ghania Dib is a Legal Director with GDA Lawyers in Revesby, and has 19 years experience in Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Family Law and Divorce & Separation.
Eman Sanoussi has a Diploma in Community Services and is completing her Bachelor of Social Science. She is employed with ANIC's Centre of Arbitration & Resolution Dispute for Marital Disputes. Eman is a Girls Youth Mentor & Program Director; Member and MC of UMA sisters events. She has also completed a course in Islamic Studies at Sydney Islamic College.
Eman is a member Gift a Smile Initiative since its founding in 2010 and an ISRE Scripture Teacher in service of the Muslim community in various organisations for over 10 years.
