The Studies of Religion in Focus Conference is an interfaith initiative to resource teachers in their teaching of Studies of Religion in both the Preliminary and HSC Course.
This year the topic is Religious Traditions as Integrated Systems for Living: A Challenge for the Modern World. The program is available by clicking the link below. The workshops in blue on the program - 1A, 2A and 3A - would be excellent for new SoR teachers, however experienced teachers may also find them beneficial.
Completing this conference will contribute 4 Hours and 45 Minutes of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 6.2.2; 7.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
Please bring your NESA accreditation number to the conference to register for accreditation and ensure you sign the attendance sheet.
To register please fill in the form below. Once registered ISRA will send you an invoice for payment.
