Starting on 16 September, for four weeks, we are running a women’s only course hosted by Sister Saara Sabbagh where she will be discussing the stories in Surah al-Kahf. Surah al-Kahf is a surah (chapter) in the Quran which is rich in profound lessons, hidden gems and beautiful reminders that we can extract and use in our everyday lives.
In a narration from the Prophet Muhammad pbuh, it is stated that the one who reads Surah Al-Kahf on Fridays will find his or her entire week enlightened until the next Friday (al-Jaami). For such a beautiful reward for just reading the surah, imagine what you could receive from understanding the surah and taking in the stories extracted from it.
About our speaker:
Saara Sabbagh has been active in the field of youth and community work in Melbourne for over 25 years. She is a cross-cultural educator, consultant and public speaker on Islamic affairs. She has studied in Syria under female scholars and is a lecturer on “Ethics and Spirituality in the Modern World.”
Join us as we get an enriched understanding about the stories in Surah al-Kahf.
