FAITH AND REASON COURSE
THREE FUNDAMENTAL QUESTIONS ASKED OF GOD IN THE QUR’AN (SYDNEY)
There are three fundamental questions on belief put forward to Allah in the Qur’an: why can’t we see Allah? asked Prophet Musa; how will Allah resurrect the dead? asked Prophet Ibrahim; why does Allah allow evil and suffering on earth? asked angels at the creation of the first human. These questions represent the basis of atheism today.
This series of three classes approaches each of these questions by applying both revelation and reason with the result of increased yaqīn (certainty in faith).
1. Why can’t we see God? Does God really exist?
2. Will there be life after death? Can human resurrection be proven?
3. Why does God allow suffering and evil in the world?
This event will be held in-person at the ISRA Sydney Centre open to males and females.
Childminding is available for 2 – 9 years of age at the Centre.
