The Centre of Islamic Studies and Civilisation will continue with the Islamic Studies Research Colloquiums in 2021 via Zoom. The third colloquium will be held on Friday, 10 September, 2021 at 3.00pm.
We will have two research presentations, followed by discussions after each. The first presentation by Elisabeth Yarbakhsh, will be on ‘Afghan Migration and Iran’s Waning Hospitality: 1979–today’. The second confirmation presentation will be delivered by Ismail Haskara who will present on ‘The nature of change in politics, society and religion in Turkey between 2011-2021: The case of Diyanet’.
