Week 1: Boost your Du'as in Ramadan: The Immense Power of Du'a

The prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "Du'a is worship. Your Lord said: call on Me and I will answer you." (Abu Dawud, Tirmidhee)
Du'a is a powerful weapon of a believer. In this class, we discuss the immense power & weight of asking Allah SWT for what we want. The etiquettes of calling upon Allah SWT and Prophetic manners of making du'a. What are the best times that our du'as are readily accepted? Some tips on utilising special moments in Ramadan to supercharge our du'as. The benefits of preparing a du'a list and setting dream du'as. Tools to align with our du'as and ambitions such as; vision boards, visualisation techniques and how gratitude is a winning formula to getting du'as accepted.
Week 2: Fasting, Ramadan and iktisad

It was the month of Ramadan in which the Qur'an was bestowed from on high as a guidance unto man and a self-evident proof of that guidance, and as the standard to discern true from false (2:185).
Many purposes and facets of wisdom in the fast of Ramadan relate to Almighty Allah’s dominicality; man’s social life, the training of his nafs(soul), and his gratitude for divine bounties.
Week 3: Jurisprudence of fasting

O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous (2:183)
Take the opportunity to transform this month with a refresher on Ramadan with the fiqh of fasting in light of the Qur'an and sunnah. Revisit information on moonsightings, taraweeh prayer itikaf, the acts which nullify or invalidate fasting, fidyah or kaffarah and the sunnah acts which increase your reward.
Week 4: Itikaf and Eid spiritual break, no class

Week 5: The Holy Qur'an Miracle of Miracles

Indeed, those who disbelieve in the message after it has come to them... And indeed, it is a mighty Book. Falsehood cannot approach it from before it or from behind it; [it is] a revelation from a [Lord who is] Wise and Praiseworthy. (41:41 - 42)
In this session we will delve into the miraculous nature of the Qur'an. We will look at examples of its beauty, eloquence, comprehensive and commentary.
Week 6: Reading the Qur'an in light of the sunnah of the prophet ﷺ

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reports that the Prophet SAW said: “Whoever recites Surat Al-Kahf on Jumu’ah will have illumination from the light from one Jumu’ah to the next.” (an-Nasa’i, al-Baihaqi, and al-Hakim)
The parables in the Qur'an draw on various themes to connect the creation back to The Creator. The Fitnah within the 4 stories in surah AL-Kahf are no exception. The people of cave and fitnah of religion, The Companion of two gardens and fitnah of wealth, the journey of Musa(ra) and Khidr(ra) and fitnah of knowledge and the story of Dhul Qarnain and the fitnah of power. Join us in our journey as believers and re-connect with Allah swt through the challenges trials and tribulations portrayed in this tafseer.
Week 8: Tafseer Surah Al-Mulk

Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood, (ra) narrated; "Whoever reads Tabaarak allaahi bi yadihi’l-mulk [i.e., Soorat al-Mulk] every night, Allah will protect him from the torment of the grave. At the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ we used to call it al-maani’ah (that which protects). In the Book of Allaah it is a soorah which, whoever recites it every night has done very well."
